Intimations of places and landscapes joined by multiple layers of colour, which are partially removed again like archaeological work, vaguely exposing the pre-existing, make you tune into the painting which at first glance might seem abstract but the transparency of colours and the fragmentary hints at familiar elements give the viewer the possibility of a very personal interpretation.
